1 Peter 1:6-7: In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

As long as I grow in my relationship with Christ I will face many trials along the way. However, God is unreservedly protecting me on every step. All I can do is to keep learning and listening to the things that He is teaching me, and to know that He is "I AM".

This passage can reach so many hearts in many different ways. It reveals the fact that joining God’s family is not an easy journey, and once you join you may face many trials along your walk with Christ. However, the joy in this is the fact that God is Holy, wonderful, mighty, a blessing God who will carry you through it all, as seen through Moses, Joseph, Jonah, Peter, and all who have a testimony.
