My favorite passage of scripture is:

Isaiah 40:28-31:

28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.

30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;

31 but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

This verse is so encouraging especially when I’m struggling with God’s call for my life or energy to do His will day after day. Our God created the earth! If you wait on Him, surely He will supply all the energy and strength you need.

This passage starts out encouraging us by reminding us who our God is, the creator of the ends of the earth! Others will grow tired of this world and fall exhausted. But if you wait on the Lord by reading His word and trusting in Him, He will give you His strength and blessing. Our God is bigger than this world or what it offers, so put your hope and trust in Him and God will mount you on His wings and carry you through your struggles.
