My favorite passage of scripture is:

Philippians 2:3: Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.

For me, this passage means to put others first and to try to live my life to serve others, and above all, to serve God.

This passage can encourage you in the idea that you don’t need to impress others. Instead of caring what others think, care only about what God thinks. It can be challenging to put others first, which often isn’t easy, but this is a great verse to remind us to focus on what our lives should be about.
