Visitation Days at Camp Geneva

Camp Geneva is hosting visitation days for prospective families considering the camp experience. This is an opportunity to get personal tours of the facilities and grounds. Campers already signed up for summer 2010 are also encouraged to attend! Tours will be approximately 30 minutes long. Bring your family, potential campers/bunkmates, and/or others who may be interested in the camp experience.

Dates:
4-6pm each day:
March 9, 11, 23, 25
April 13, 15, 27, 29

How to participate:

Please let us know in advance through email at geneva@campgeneva.org or call at 800.805.0808. (even if it's the day of!)

Reasons to take a personal tour:

1. Does your potential bunkmate have cold feet? Invite them to tour the grounds and see the beautiful facilities Camp Geneva has to offer!

2. The prospect of overnight camp has the potential to fill campers AND parents with apprehension about the experience. Explore where you'll eat, sleep, and play! An expert Camp Geneva guide will be there to answer all of your questions!

What if I can't make any of the above dates?

You can call and request a tour at any time! Call 800.805.0808 to set up a time outside of the visitation days. We will do our best to be available when it's most convenient for your family.

Introduce your Child to Overnight Camp:

Unsure if your child is ready for an overnight experience? We have two options to introduce your child to spending the night at camp!

1. Special Day Camp Weeks:

June 21-25 and August 2-6 (entering 3rd-4th grade in the fall)

Campers entering 3rd or 4th grade in the fall will get a taste of overnight camp as they will be staying in one of our cabins on Thursday evening. This is a great opportunity for your child to 'sample' the overnight experience. Link to Day Camp web page

2. Short Weeks:

July 12-14 and July 15-17 (entering 3rd-4th grade in the fall)

There are a couple 3-day, 2-night camps throughout the summer for campers to get an abbreviated experience to prepare them for a week of overnight camp. An added bonus is that the entire family is invited to attend the closing ceremony and join in some of the popular camp activities like arts & crafts, swimming in the splash park, and archery. Parents have an opportunity to get to know your counselor and your new friends! Link to GENEVA Shores web page
