We've tried to answer questions that we hear often but if you don't see the answer to your question, feel free to call or email us.

When will Camp Geneva begin taking registrations for the coming summer?
Camp Geneva begins taking registrations each year the first week of January.

Who is it mailed to? Will I get one?

The summer brochure is mailed to every family who has had a camper here in the last 3 years. In fact, if you were at Camp Geneva last summer, we send you two brochures - one for yourself and one for a friend! Summer brochures were also mailed to most local churches (all denominations), so if you aren't on our mailing list, you can probably pick one up at your church. If you wish to be added to our mailing list, just email GENEVA at geneva@campgeneva.org. Give us your name and address and we'll be sure you get one of our brochures.

How soon should I register?
As soon as possible after you receive the registration form! Last year over 60% of our registrations were in by the end of January. You can track how fast weeks are filling up on our website. Check Availability

I’m going into 6th grade and my friend is going into 7th grade. Can we come together?
Since each week is designed for the grades indicated, we require that you come during a week appropriate for your grade. Since 6th graders are at GENEVA Shores and 7th graders are at GENEVA Pines, it won’t be possible for you to come together.

Can I list 2 bunkmates on my registration form?
Since cabins have an even number of bunks, it is not always possible for us to put 3 friends in the same cabin. The 2 who want to bunk together must list each other and the third one will be assigned another bunkmate, hopefully in the same cabin, but we can’t guarantee it. We recommend the 3rd camper find another friend to bunk with.

Day Campers are allowed to request more than one day camp buddy.

How does GENEVA’s scholarship program work?
Read how it works

Do I register by the grade I'm in now, or by the grade I'm going into in the fall?
Register by the grade you are entering in the fall.

What is your camper/counselor ratio?
Day Camp - 8 campers/counselor
Shores - 10 campers/counselor for full weeks and 10 campers/1 counselor and a CIT for 3-day camps
Pines - 10 campers/counselor
Discipleship - 9 campers/2 counselors

Will I get a confirmation?

Yes. Get more information on confirmations
Does GENEVA accept names on a waiting list if the week I want is full?
Yes. See more information on wait list policies

What if I want to be a CIT but don’t get accepted. Can I attend the Discipleship Camp instead?
See this note on the CIT page
