Camp Geneva, the summer camping program, consists of two resident camps (GENEVA Shores and GENEVA Pines), a Day Camp, a High School Discipleship Camp and CIT (Counselor-in-Training) program, ministering to children entering first grade through high school. Each camp week is divided by age groups and programming differs for each unique camp.

The GENEVA Shores resident camp program (3rd-6th grades) has a maximum capacity of 200 campers a week (10 per cabin); the GENEVA Pines resident camp (7th-9th grades) has a capacity of 120 campers each week (10 per cabin); the High School program (10th - 12th grades) has a capacity of 30; and Day Camp (1st-4th grades) has a capacity of 88 campers per week. Because of the variety of our programs, all staff must be willing to rotate responsibilities when asked.

Each of these camp programs has one staff member designated as coordinator, providing opportunities for leadership for those with unique skills and experience. The summer staff is made up of 46 counselors (11 in Day Camp, 20 at GENEVA Shores, 12 at GENEVA Pines, and 3 High School), seven coordinators (Shores, Pines, High School, Day Camp, Special Needs, Waterfront and Challenge Coordinators), two assistant coordinators, two nurses, nine kitchen staff, seven lifeguards, two camp store staff, two arts & crafts staff, two video staff, and two maintenance staff, for a total of 81.

As a part of the contract, you will be expected to work at least one weekend of support work. Some members of the support staff will have a different weekday and weekend work schedule than other staff because of the nature of their responsibilities.
