I love how simple the verse is, but at the same time what powerful implications it has. It shows that we are not expected to be perfect before coming to God, but that He came to us while we were still lost in sin.

Campers, this verse can be an encouragement because it means that they can seek out God before they have it all together. Jesus gave His life when we were at our worst, so no matter where they are at spiritually, Jesus is ready to accept us there and begin working in us.
