One of the things I struggle with the most is wanting to make everybody happy. This verse reminds me that the only person I have to please is God. This is a constant comfort to me.

I feel this verse can apply to the lives of every single camper, especially the middle schoolers and high schoolers. As students grow up, they are constantly pressured to please their peers by dressing, acting, and speaking a certain way. This verse challenges us to focus on pleasing God alone, despite what others may say. As servants of Christ, winning God’s approval should be the only thing that matters.
