My favorite passage of scripture is:

1 John 3:18: Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.

Being a Christian is more than just saying the right words. It is about action. It is about turning the love we give to and receive from God into love for our neighbor.

Campers, I encourage you to think about your motivations behind your actions. Are your actions for the glory of the Lord? Sharing the love of Christ with others does not have to be loud or overbearing, it can be seen quietly or maybe even silently. When you turn your love for God & His love for you into love for others into action, you are bringing a very real and tangible expression of Christ’s love, mercy, and grace to the world.
